"Diesmal verschlägt es die Waldgeister Poelstra & Steijn zusammen mit AktivistInnen und KünstlerInnen in den Türkenschanzpark und ins TÜWI.
Auf der Suche nach einer Gegenstrategie zur Stagnation, an der die Allgemeinheit zu zerbrechen droht, versuchen united sorry einen neuen gesellschaftlichen Frühling einzuleiten. Wie bei einem revolutionären Frühling, der für den Wunsch nach einer tiefgreifenden Veränderung und deren Sichtbarmachung steht, sollen alte Ideen aus dem Weg geräumt werden, um neuen Platz zu machen."
Salon im Grünen #2 widmet sich also ganz der Frage, wie Kunst und politischer Aktivismus Hand in Hand gehen können, um genau diesen Umbruch einzuleiten.
Gemeinsam mit den geladenen Salongästen wird das Publikum Zeuge und Teil eines geistigen Frühjahrsputzes, bei dem die Altlasten entsorgt und die Sinne ganz auf Sommer eingestellt werden.

without getting to holy, but the first part in the park is based in its format on a procession with shrines, so let's say the whole structured is focused on an inner contemplation, the second one on demonstration and discussion, so in the park it is an individual experience provoked by the trees, plants and outside park landscape, in the cafe it is the exchange, discussion, how to put our thoughts in the world. it is nice to think about this shift.

a silent shrine is a good idea - maybe more like greek philosophers walking around contemplating (not to get too much into that holy-meditation topic)
i can participate at roberts shrine (if he wants) or somewhere else. jürgen is very open too. so if someone needs music or accoustics - just tell us.

the word shrine in this context, sounds a little holy, but it refers to a place where we can contemplate, reflect, concentrate for instance on how we position ourselves in the world. perhaps we can also have a shrine where we're we are mostly silent and rethink a question, i start to think about this.

i write to elke and matthias because they meet today to talk a bit about th 3th...too bad i can't be with you today, i'm in the train right now to bregenz watching the scenery pass by…
i don't now what you will talk about today but i think it's good to keep a few practical things in mind. for the 'nahrung' part, the shrines/stations; we cannot build things in the park and what we do shouldn't be longer as 7-8 min. personally i think 5 minutes is even better, we do a lot in the park!
like i wrote before i would like to join the mushroom station. i'm reading a bit about it and well, let's keep in touch about it!
for the 'get clean' part. andreas ordered the plumeaux (staubwedel) 50 of them, it should be enough…
coming monday andreas and i will take care of the protest signs (schilden). the markers to write we buy too.
andreas and i were last week another time in tüwi to speak about the walls if they could be covered with white paper, no problems there.
during the day of thursday the 3th you will get coupons for drinks and food.
how are things going concerning the other 2 stations? from what i understood franz will take care of the transition station. are people in contact? somebody wants to join there?
also the other station. is there an idea for that? who is joining?

I like the growing of the mushroom group..
Now it´s Elke, Frans, MushroomMusician and me. Maybe "growing" is a part of that shrine.
A group meeting at türkenschanzpark would be nice, but i´m afraid my time is very short.

BOKU has announced to have police throw the people out from that area today at noontime. Many of them are students of BOKU. BOKU is just beside Türkenschanzpark.

strange, i read doris her link about gender landscape, and i discovered that mountains and trees are mostly masculine for me, and bushes and plants female, what does that say about me? and i wonder what the turkenschanz park for gender has. a little bit feminine man, or a masculine woman? transgender?
